Golf is often regarded as a very intimidating game for novices.
Our staff is trained to welcome all level of ability with programs at Schaumburg Golf Club and Walnut Greens Golf Club designed specifically for female golfers. Peggy Ellsworth, LPGA professional on staff with Schaumburg, will host several spring clinics for ladies, and teach a summer co-rec program that is open to all golfers.
Schaumburg Golf Course hosts Thursday morning 18-hole ladies league and organizes a Tuesday evening 9-hole ladies leagues. The Tuesday night league runs from the beginning of May and ends at the beginning of August. Registration begins for the Tuesday Night league on Wednesday, April 1 and is open to the first 32 registrations. To learn more about the Thursday morning 18-hole league, please contact the Schaumburg Golf Shop and will be happy to provide the contact information of the League President.
Walnut Greens offers a co-ed league featuring weekly contests. Tee times vary. Registration begins March 18 at Walnut Greens

Full Swing Clinic: Irons and Woods - One Hour
The hour-long lesson will be dedicated to getting you to hit your irons and woods with authority and how they are different in terms of set-up and swing.
- 10 to 11 a.m., May 14, Fee: $20.
Full Swing Review and Short Game; chipping and pitching.
- 10 to 11 a.m., May 21, Fee: $20.
