The foursome of Dave Moeller, Ann Jenkins, David Lencioni and Steve Tolzien won the Links Technology Cup Golf Outing benefiting the Schaumburg Park Foundation with a final score of 53 on Aug. 13 at the Schaumburg Golf Club.
The foursome of Bob Curran, Mike Taylor, Ron Pacini and Dalton Rhodes was second with a score of 56. And the group of Gino Guagliardi, Lou Gagliardi, Robert Gagliardi and Ken Sonneberger, along with Steven St. Louis, Steve Gagnon, Austin Carey and Aaron Wargo tied for third with scores of 57.
Ray Zawacki won the Daily Herald Shootout Closest to the Pin contest and the $1,000 cash prize with a shot that landed just three feet and nine inches away from the hole. Ron Pacini took second in the Shootout and Steve Tolzien third.
Joe Sabatino won the longest drive contest for the men, while Ann Jenkins captured the longest drive for the women. Jim Burke took home first in the Woodfield Putt of the Day Contest with a putt of 51 feet.
